About Potography
What We Do
Potography is an online community for cannabis photographers.
We run monthly photo contests (now live!) and print cannabis art on cannabis (hemp) paper.
Along with our contests and printing service, we’re always looking for new ways to help our community of artists connect with, support, and learn from each other.

Why "Potography?"
While our focus is cannabis photography, we believe “potography” encompasses the full spectrum of cannabis-inspired art, from photography and graphic design to music and film.
Countless works of art have been inspired by cannabis, and every day the plant continues to help us make life more colorful.
Our ultimate goal is to cultivate a diverse and vibrant community of cannabis-inspired creators.
And that’s just the beginning of showing the world what cannabis can do.
Join our community
Anyone can vote in our monthly photo contests, and with a free Potography.com account, you can compete to win lifetime bragging rights, free hemp prints, and more!
We’d love to see Potography grow into a platform that celebrates cannabis art free from the constraints of platforms that seem more focused on marketing and business than art and creativity.
Don’t let the “contest” part fool you: this is 100% for fun.
So browse, vote, and, when you’re ready, submit your best shots!

Hemp Printing Services
Get your cannabis art printed on cannabis paper!
Our sister company, Custom Hemp Solutions, has assembled the most complete lineup of hemp paper products on the market today, with more than 25 (not a typo!) distinct paper stocks ranging from bright white to pitch black.
While the most popular hemp papers on the market contain about 25% hemp on average, some of our favorite hemp paper stocks contain as much as 100% hemp!
The fine art hemp paper we use for our contests and photo prints sits right in the middle of that range with 60% hemp.
Potography specializes in printing high-end cannabis photography on our archival fine art hemp paper, but please feel free to contact us to discuss any of your printing needs.
About the Admin
Originally from New York, Sam moved to Washington, DC in 2011 to help legalize cannabis.
After a few years working in the world of politics, he decided to shift his focus to art and business in order to be happier and become a more effective advocate.
Along with being a lifetime cannabis advocate, Sam is also an award-winning cannabis cultivator, a glass art collector, and a self-taught graphic designer and entrepreneur.
When he’s not working on his lifelong mission to help change the world with cannabis, he likes learning new things and attending live music events.
If you have any questions or want to learn more about Potography, feel free to reach out to Sam at sam@potography.com, or fill out the form on our Contact page.
