December 2020 Photo Contest Results
The year 2020 is officially over and our December photo contest has come to an end. What a wild year it was and, while it definitely wasn’t the best 12 months on record, we’re happy we started our monthly photo contest and definitely plan to continue through 2021!
Thank you to everyone who made our first year memorable. We can’t wait to share more about what we’ve been working on for 2021.

The Results of Our December Contest
The December 2020 photo contest featured seven entries from 3 contestants, two of which were returning 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place winners. We ended up with a 3-way tie between our returning champion from May and June 2020, @TheDankOne420, and returning finalist @the_chronickk. (@the_chronickk on Instagram).
Our judges broke the tie leaving @the_chronickk with two of the top 3 slots and @TheDankOne420 with the other. Read on to see who won the top spot!
Third Place: @the_chronickk
In third place, @the_chronickk is back with a shot of Kryptochronic cultivated by Alien Labs.
Nick has extensive experience in the cannabis industry and has worked for some of the best-known cannabis brands in the world. Nick uses his well-developed palate to seek out the best cannabis strains on the market and he documents his experiences on Instagram for everyone else to enjoy too.
We love seeing Nick’s photos in the Potography gallery and appreciate his never-ending support!
Second Place: @the_chronickk
Taking both third place and second, @the_chronickk secured his second victory of the month with this shot of Kush Mint Cookies by Fig Farms.
Not only was this an excellent shot of what looks like some excellent cannabis, but we also loved how the colors and design elements of the label (like the stars, etc.) gave this shot a sort of Holiday vibe. Or is that just me?
Either way, we loved this shot— and thanks to @the_chronickk for another great entry!
First Place: @TheDankOne420
Our top spot for December goes to returning champion @TheDankOne420, whose macro shot of Grandaddy Purp was absolutely stunning.
@TheDankOne420 consistently posts some of the best cannabis eye candy on the web, and his shots often look like actual candy or some extravagant dessert due to the wide range of colors and textures he manages to capture.
Combine The Dank One’s unmistakable aesthetic with a colorful strain like Grandaddy Purp, and you’re in for a real sweet treat!

Final Thoughts
We had a slightly lower participation rate this month, but we’re happy to see the contest still going strong as we move into a new and better year. We’re always looking forward to the future and can’t wait to share some of the updates we have in store for 2021.
